MY STORY

So, there I was. With my 22 years and an overwhelming task of leading an entire team from then on. A leader on paper, but what that really meant and how to do it – completely unclear. Taking on so much responsibility as a young person can be scary.

My biggest worry at the time: not living up to expectations and disappointing the trust placed in me.

But even experienced leaders face new challenges every day – something I can tell you a thing or two about after 20 years of experience in leading employees.

Today I know: there is a big suitcase with many useful tools for managers. Tools that decision-makers can draw on to master their leadership challenges with confidence – and thus do justice to the company’s goals, the interests of team members and themselves.

Good leadership starts with self-leadership and the power of change makes many things possible. I am convinced that small steps can have a big impact – provided you turn the right screws.

That is why I love working closely with people and accompanying them on the path to their full potential.

 

BIANCA PRIVATE

And what do I do when I am not coaching, facilitating a workshop or giving a training?

I take time for my own little “family business”.

My three children are similar bundles of energy as I am. It never gets boring with us! It makes me proud to see the different personalities that all three have already developed into.

I find it exciting how many parallels there are between being a parent and being an executive.

I have seen an incredible amount of the world, traveled to many countries and even lived in China, Italy and Switzerland, and yet I have always been drawn back to my hometown of Munich. On the one hand, my family lives here, which is very important to me, and on the other hand, the proximity to the mountains is a great gift.

Hiking up the mountains and feeling the incredible sense of freedom when I reach the summit cross and gaze into the distance… that is what fills up my energy barrel.

Sports and exercise are very important to me and an integral part of my day. My favorite thing to do is go for a run or power out with a full body workout at home.

And what is my “Guilty Pleasure”?

I love desserts…

When I go out to eat somewhere, my eyes always fall to the desserts on the menu first, and only then do I consider what my main course will be. This makes “Kaiserschmarrn” my favorite dish. No wonder – so my dessert simply becomes the main course.
